Nice vintage William Spratling pin measures 2.5 inches long 1 and ¼ inch wide. The amethyst has a couple of chips, one on the back and one on the left most flower tip. Marked with the conjoined WS hallmark with SPRATLING MADE IN MEXICO and SPRATLING SILVER in an oval cartouche. Hinge and locking safety clasp work great. Not only a collectible work of art but a very wearable and attractive one as well.
