This is a classic antique Georg Shiebler sterling silver greek/roman heraldic brooch. Amazingly crafted and an excellent example of the quality that made Shiebler one of the most notable jewelry designers of the late 19th and early 20th century. I believe the main character is Athena with a helmet that has a dragon or griffin on top. Measures 2.5 inches long and weighs 19 grams. Marked STERLING 69 with the Shiebler winged S mark. There are 4 coins and it appears there may have been another at the end but I can not find another one of this style for reference. Overall very good condition with original tube hinge and fancy c-clasp.
