Fine detailed Victorian era brooch featuring a heart set with seed pearls and garnets. Measures 1.75 inches wide by ½ inch tall and weighs 2.5 grams. Hallmarked 375 with British standards for Chester, 9ct gold date mark for 1875 and the maker's mark is partially visible, possibly William Neale. Overall condition is very good. The pin stem is silver and appears to be original, tube hinge and c-clasp closure.
