An exceptional example of sentimental jewelry from the Victorian era. Clear glass windows front and back form a locket that holds a lock of hair. The frame is 10K gold and the locket bezels, pin and hinge are 14K gold. Measures 2 ¼ inch tall by 1 and ¾ inch wide. A simple and elegant piece very well made, all original in lovely condition c. 1880. Total weight is 14.8 grams.
